• Contract Duration: 6 months (contract-to-hire)
• Worksite Location: Minnetonka, MN | Hybrid (mostly remote)
• Compensation: $40.00-$48.00 per hour

What you will do as a Senior Financial Analyst:

• Oversee financial planning and analysis for a segment of administrative expenses, including enterprise-wide financial projects, membership platforms, depreciation, and investment reporting
• Act as a strategic partner and financial advisor to assigned business areas, supporting functions like HR, Finance, Executive, and Operations
• Lead budgeting processes and ensure alignment of departmental goals with financial targets
• Manage rolling forecasts by adjusting projections based on changing business conditions and providing strategic insights
• Optimize costs through labor arbitrage models, benchmarking, and spend analysis to identify cost-saving and growth opportunities
• Monitor expenses and investments, providing regular updates and strategic recommendations to leadership
• Ensure accuracy and controls over labor expense reporting, in coordination with HR
• Build and maintain complex financial models and dashboards for senior leadership decision-making
• Deliver timely and accurate financial reports, projections, and variance analysis to support strategic initiatives
• Support audits, ensure adherence to financial controls, and maintain documentation for compliance

What you will bring to the Senior Financial Analyst role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of experience in financial planning & analysis, corporate finance, accounting, or investment management
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), including use of DBRW formulas
• Strong understanding of financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cost optimization principles
• Proven ability to synthesize complex financial data into concise and compelling presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint
• Experience working with multiple financial systems and analytical tools
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to convey financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders
• Track record of managing multiple projects in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail
