Cedar Creek Hospital of Michigan opened in 2017 as a beautiful and state of the art 54-bed facility. Cedar Creek provides evidence-based treatment to adolescents and adults struggling with mental health issues.  Cedar Creek Hospital invests in our patients by offering an integrated medicine approach that provides the latest therapies including yoga, mindfulness, aromatherapy, music therapy and nutrition. As part of our success and innovation in the field we are seeking qualified applicants for a Receptionist position.

Position Description:

The reception staff cordially greets and receives hospital guests, ascertains their needs and appropriately directs visitors. The receptionist performs and documents initial infection control practices and screenings according to hospital guidelines. This position will operates the hospital switchboard in a professional manner and routes calls correctly.  Performs admission registration process, charge posting and a variety of clerical duties.  Complies with attendance and punctuality policy. 

Hours: Receptionist desk shifts are 7 am to 7:30 pm, every other weekend, Saturday and Sunday. 

Receptionist Job Requirements:

High school graduate or equivalent required.
Accurate typing skills and previous office experience required.
Effective oral and written communication skills and demonstrated interpersonal skills to interact with a diverse population.
Ability to make independent, responsible decisions upholding hospital policy .
