POSITION SUMMARY:

StayCVP is seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Manager to oversee the upkeep and improvement of our vacation rental properties in the Asheville, NC area. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property maintenance or facility management with a sharp eye for detail and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

As a hands-on problem-solver, you will be responsible for addressing corrective maintenance needs, conducting routine property inspections, and ensuring our homes remain in excellent condition. Your ability to prioritize urgent repairs while optimizing long-term maintenance planning will be essential to success in this role.

You will coordinate with the Guest Services team to rapidly address guest-reported issues while proactively suggesting and implementing value-adding improvements, such as new amenities or design enhancements. This is a 1099 role.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Address corrective maintenance needs flagged by guests and cleaning vendors.
• Conduct routine property inspections and execute minor repairs as needed.
• Oversee preventative maintenance checks every 45 days to ensure homes remain in excellent condition.
• Utilize Breezeway to track maintenance tasks and completion status.
• Ensure homes meet CVP's guest-readiness standards, including property cleanliness, safety, and functionality.
• Maintain and expand a vendor rolodex for larger projects, home improvements, and repairs.
• Source, onboard, and manage contractors for specialty repairs and renovations.
• Work closely with third-party vendors to ensure cost-effective, high-quality service.
• Utilize Slack for real-time communication with the team.
• Travel within a one-hour radius of Asheville to oversee maintenance tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3+ years of experience in property maintenance or facility management
• Strong hands-on maintenance skills, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC troubleshooting, and general repairs.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel within a one-hour radius of Asheville.
• Smartphone with maintenance management app capability (Breezeway, Slack, etc.).
• Highly organized and proactive—able to prioritize urgent repairs while optimizing long-term maintenance planning.
• Existing network of trusted vendors in Asheville or ability to quickly establish vendor relationships.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for home improvement and investor relations.
• Ability to work as a 1099 contractor, with flexible, on-call availability based on maintenance needs.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Hourly Rate: $25 - $28

Bonus

• 10% bonus potential, paid quarterly, based on hitting key goals

Schedule

• Mon-Fri (9-5pm) Weekend availability as needed
