About the Position:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Construction to lead our growing construction team. The individual will be responsible for overseeing the construction of entire Build-to-Rent communities in Houston, Dallas and Central Texas. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in every project, from land acquisition and site selection to construction completion and ultimately, project sale.

Requirements:

• Proven track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with team members, subcontractors and owners in order to foster an exceptional culture at the jobsite.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in production home building, preferably with a successful track record at a larger, production home builder.
• Minimum 5 years of experience selecting and managing subcontractors
• Design and Preconstruction experience
• Established network of subcontractors and tradespeople: Your ability to attract and retain reliable partners is crucial to our success.
• Recent experience in middle-income or BTR projects
