Responsibilities

• Design and implement engaging dance lessons for various age groups and skill levels.
• Develop choreography for performances and competitions, ensuring quality and originality.
• Provide constructive feedback to students to enhance their skills and boost their confidence.
• Maintain a safe and encouraging environment for all participants during classes and events.
• Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding progress, performance schedules, and class expectations.
• Collaborate with other instructors to create a diverse curriculum that promotes creativity and technical skills.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance teaching methods and stay up-to-date with industry trends.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a dance instructor or in a relevant role with a strong background in multiple dance styles.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to inspire students of all ages and backgrounds.
• Strong organizational skills to manage class schedules, student progress, and performance preparation.
• A degree or certification in dance, performing arts, education, or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate class schedules.
• First-aid and CPR certification will be considered an asset.
• A passion for dance and a commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive community.
