Job Title: Criminal Defense Attorney
Salary: $110-140k + bonuses

We are seeking a dedicated Criminal Defense Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a background in criminal defense with at least 3+ years of experience and a prosecutorial background. Experience in trial as 1st or 2nd chair representing felony cases is a major plus. This position is remote and offers gas mileage reimbursement, competitive wages, and quarterly/annual bonuses.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
• Represent clients in court and during legal negotiations.
• Prepare and review legal documents, including contracts and pleadings.
• Advocate for clients in complex criminal cases and other legal matters.
• Negotiate settlements and alternative dispute resolutions effectively.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of legal developments and technology relevant to the practice.
• Manage case files and maintain proper documentation for all legal proceedings.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active state bar membership and license to practice law.
• 3+ years of experience in legal practice, particularly in criminal law or civil litigation.
• Strong skills in legal research and analysis.
• Proven negotiation and trial experience.
• Ability to manage complex legal cases effectively.
• Proficiency in legal technology and case management software.
