Job Description

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Dance and Cheer Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dance education and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment for students of all ages. This role involves teaching Cheer & Hip Hop styles, by developing lesson plans, and promoting the joy of dance while ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants.

Location: Rise Academy

Days: Monday - Friday

Times: 10am - 12pm

Duties

• Educate students in hip-hop and Cheer .
• Develop engaging lesson plans tailored to different age groups and skill levels.
• Implement effective behavior management strategies to maintain a positive classroom atmosphere.
• Provide constructive feedback to students to help them improve their skills.
• Organize and participate in dance recitals and performances at the end of program to , showcasing students' progress
• Foster an inclusive environment that supports childhood development and encourages creativity.
• Maintain a safe and clean studio environment for all participants.

Experience

• Previous experience in dance instruction or related fields is preferred.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles is beneficial for working with younger students.
• Familiarity with lesson planning techniques that cater to diverse learning styles.
• Experience in behavior management strategies to effectively handle classroom dynamics.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $23.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 2 per week
