Job Description

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing building management systems to optimize the performance and efficiency of telecommunications infrastructure. Your main objective will be to ensure that the BMS systems meet the company's technical and operational requirements, contributing to the success of network operations and communication services.

Main Responsibilities:

Development of BMS Systems:

  • Design and develop building management systems based on the company's needs and requirements.
  • Implement BMS solutions to monitor and control telecommunications equipment, power systems, HVAC, security, and other critical infrastructure systems.

Programming and Configuration:

  • Write code and scripts for programming and configuring BMS systems using relevant technologies and programming languages.
  • Configure user interfaces and control panels to enable efficient monitoring and management of BMS systems.

System Integration:

  • Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to ensure smooth and seamless integration of BMS systems into the existing network environment.

Optimization and Continuous Improvement:

  • Perform data analysis and diagnostics to identify opportunities for improving operational and energy efficiency.
  • Propose and develop solutions to optimize BMS performance and reduce operating costs.

Documentation and Support:

  • Maintain up-to-date technical documentation, including user manuals, technical specifications, and system architecture diagrams.
  • Provide technical support and training to internal and external teams on the use and maintenance of BMS systems.

Requirements:
  • 4 or more years of experience.
  • Native or resident in Miami.
  • Experience with Niagara, Schneider, SCADA, and Siemens.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in programming and developing BMS systems.
  • Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, C++, Python, or specific BMS languages.
  • Ability to design and implement complex technical solutions with attention to detail and precision.
  • Problem-solving skills and data analysis capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team.
  • Commitment to continuous improvement and skill updates in a constantly evolving technological environment.
