Job Description

- Job Title: AWS Cloud Engineer (DevSecOps) - Remote
- Work with Federal customer's Cloud Team to design and implement initiatives in an AWS environment
- Must be a US Citizen with active DoD SECRET clearance
- Design, develop and implement secure AWS cloud infrastructure solutions adhering to best practices and security principles
- Implement and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) and continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability
- Contribute to internal documentation, including architectural diagrams, technical specifications, and process documentation
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Promote the adoption of DevSecOps principles, improving environment security and reliability
- Collaborate across various technology disciplines
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of AWS services, security best practices, and emerging industry trends
- Must have at least 5-7 years of experience in AWS and with DevSecOps tooling
- Must have an Associate-level or higher AWS certification
- Proficiency in one or more general use programming/scripting languages and version control systems
- Strong knowledge of AWS security best practices
- Experience with OS and network administration
- Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies
- Excellent communication skills with ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work with abstract concepts and resolve complex customer inquiries
- Ability to multi-task and maintain adaptability in changing priorities
- Must have a passion to learn new concepts and technologies and provide world-class customer service.
