Job Summary
The A/P & Purchasing specialist under general supervision, will support accounts payable functions and purchasing needs.
Essential Duties:
· Process invoices into Doclinks & MAS500.
· Provide timely and accurate payment processing by processing accounts payable checks.
· Develop and maintain reports and files.
· Assist with the month end process for A/P.
· Assign PO numbers to PO requisitions from department heads.
· Keep track and maintain purchasing files.
· Assist with purchasing supplies for nursing and hospital staff.
· Researches vendors and collects prices, specifications, and other data related to goods and services.
· Assist with other tasks as needed.
High School degree or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
Minimum of 5 years experience in accounts payable and purchasing.
